When it comes to build, the new model isn’t that different. The Samsung Galaxy J7 still has a 5.5 inch 720p Super AMOLED touchscreen display, 5MP selfie camera, 13MP rear camera, 16GB expandable storage and 1.4 GHz octa-core CPU by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 SoC.
Now that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow is out, it is still unclear as to when it will be available for the Galaxy J7 2016 model. As of today, only the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are officially confirmed to receive the update.

How to Install Android 6.0 Marshmallow ROM on Samsung Galaxy J7
1. Download the ROM from the source below.
2. Visit Google Play Store and then download and install the ROM Manager on your Samsung Galaxy J7. Alternatively, you can try using alternative application such as Jrummy Apps Inc.(Get it from Google Play Store).
3. Next, download and install the Clockwork Mod Recovery on your Samsung Galaxy J7.
4. Connect the phone to your PC via USB cable. Copy the Rom.zip file to your phone’s memory card.
5. Restart the phone in Recovery Mode using the ROM Manager. After the restart is completed, open the ROM Manager again and backup your personal information.
